Mitsukai: One Spoiled Japanese Chin!

  • September 29, 2009 7:45 pm

She was 10 weeks old and sitting alone in a forlorn cage at a pet store. We could not leave her to who knows what fate, so we purchased her and took her home along with two dog beds for sale. It was her beginning to a spoiled life.  Her food was home made.. no store bought stuff!  She had her own toy and toy shelf. She had not one, but two beds! Her first bed was red and purchased when she was 12 weeks old. It was tiny, just like her.  She is now four years old and still sleeps in it..at least most of her does!!!  However, she also likes to sleep in our bed, right in the middle! She does not move when asked. So, we decided to get her another dog bed. This one is a little larger than her first one and is pink. She loves it and it fits her perfectly.  How many of you can say their dog has a two bed home!!! Spoiled? I think so!

Life as a Web Consultant

  • September 29, 2009 12:24 pm

My day starts at 3:50am every morning, whether I am ready for it or not. I get up so early because it takes my so long to wake up enough to function. I have a set routine I do every single day, it never changes. When I wake up I sit on the side of my bed and pet my dog for at least 10 minutes. My dog thinks that I am there just for him but I use that time to close my eyes and wish I were still under the covers. I stumble up the stairs to the bathroom where I shower and wish I were still in bed. I make coffee and go back downstairs. As I watch the news and put on my make up, get dressed and get ready to go I still wish I were in bed. The mocha stand is in my daily routine as well as carpooling with Tito. When I get to work I log in and wait for calls to set up websites. I go home at 3pm where I get bombarded with “What’s for Dinner Mom?” After dinners I watch my recorded shows from the night before, put my pajamas on and I am in bed by 8pm, looking forward to getting up at 3:50 am to start everything all over again.

We recently went to Long beach, Washington for a family vacation. I love the Ocean it is beautiful and so big you never forget it. I have family that lives in Long beach so it made sense to go. I enjoyed the beach trip it was fun and affordable, so when you can save money and have a good time that is an added bonus. Long beach Washington is one of the only beaches around that you can drive out on to. Being handicapped I do not have the stamina to walk out on to the sand and enjoy the water. We drove right on to the beach and I was able to sit and take in the glorious sight. My family rode go-carts and we dinned in seafood restaurants and watching my husband fly a kite was the best. It worked out great, we stayed with family so we did not have to put hundreds of dollars out for a hotel and were able to go back to a family environment a night to collect our memories.

Mahjong Madness

  • September 21, 2009 9:23 am

Mahjong is a fun game that I discovered on the Internet. This is a Chinese Puzzle Game where they lay the puzzle tiles out in a style or pattern and sometime even the shapes of animals or objects. The goal of Mahjong is to eliminate the tiles by clicking the mouse on matching tiles. There is a trick to this game though; the tiles have to have an open side, meaning there cannot be another tile blocking a side. The more you unlock of the tiles the smaller the puzzle becomes and once the board is cleared you can advance to the next level. Sometimes you do get stuck when there are no more moves available that you can see, but you usually are allowed up to 5 hints per puzzle or the game is over. I can do this game for hours upon end, it requires focus and concentration and I enjoy it more than any other hobby.
