The Coolest Present I Have Ever Received

When I was 18 years old my parents gave me the coolest present ever.  I was working, studying and playing hard; burning the candle at both ends.  I travelled to work and to college by bus and had to rely on my parents for rides anywhere else.  On the morning of my 18th birthday I had a lie-in (no work or college for me that day!) and went down stairs.  I started to open the cards when my parents asked me to open their card first.  The card seemed heavy, so I tore it open.  Inside the card was a key.  I looked at my parents and they told me to look outside.  On the drive way was my present.  They had bought me a red car – my favourite colour.    My dad asked if I wanted to take it out and of course I agreed.  I stopped for petrol first of all (even though my parents had already filled it up, I still wanted to experience putting in petrol in my very own car) and then off we went.

Stressful Times

Stress Free Bar

For me stressful times are everyday. I work at a state prison. I get to go to work and babysit a bunch of overgrown kids. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy what I do, I keep the public safe from convicted criminals, but I do suffer from a lot of stress while I do it. And it’s not just from the inmates, co-workers contribute to it as well. I mean, most don’t do it on purpose I’m sure, but they can add to it with the way they conduct themselves. Then there is the inmates, they whine about everything and try to play their games. It’s all very stressful but I wouldn’t change jobs right now if I could. I want to try it out for a while then see what I think.

Dog as my Brother

  • January 23, 2011 3:16 am

When I am studying 5th standard my dad present me a small dog. I named it as a PUPPY and take care of it as my brother . Where ever I go it will come with me. Everyone in my family loves it. Puppy too loves us. After my school time, I will play with my puppy. My family members will speak with him as a human being. He also does what ever we say. There is a kettle for him. In that we made a bed for him. If any person enters our house, puppy will not allow them to get him. It will start barking till we come. Now it has grown big. He looks smart and brisk. Always call me to play with him. Our red dog collars are simple and practical.

Dream Trip

If I could go anywhere with any two people I would go to Ireland with my wife and brother. Ireland is an obvious choice for me since I’ve dreamt of going there since I was young. I would take my wife because I love her, she’s Irish too, and I can’t imagine spending the time of my life without her. My brother would accompany me because we have both wanted to go to the land of our ancestors and because me and him have been through so much together that has brought us so close. I know they’d both love it as much as I would. That would be my dream vacation. A tour around the Emerald Isle!
