They are very wonderful and smart creatures, at times you may think of them as humans. I have 2 great kids (dogs) but sometimes I have to keep them out of the kitchen, so I have found this wonderful invention called the dog gate. Yes I said that. I use them to keep them out of the kitchen at dinner time and when I want the front door open, because the weather is getting really nice.
